Conversations with History is an archive of more than 325 interviews. The interviews are one hour and are in video, audio, and transcript format. Guests include diplomats, statesmen, and soldiers; economists and political analysts; scientists and historians; writers and foreign correspondents; activists and artists. The interviews span the globe and include discussion of political, economic, military, legal, cultural, and social issues shaping our world. At the heart of each interview is a focus on individuals and ideas that make a difference.

Conversations with History is broadcast nationally on satellite television on Friday evenings at 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time on UCTV, which is part of the Public Interest Channel line-up on the EchoStar DISH Network, Nationwide Channel 9412, and is accessible via many cable stations.

He is also creator, executive producer and host of Conversations with History. He is also Executive Director of the Institute of International Studies at the University of California at Berkeley http://globetrotter.berkeley.edu In that role, he shapes, administers, and implements interdisciplinary research and teaching programs.
Mr. Kreisler teaches a unique course offered on the Berkeley campus each spring.
